Dovestone Diamond

Cracking and popular local race, normally held in May.

Lots of mud to start, a good climb into the woods, and then and undulating around the reservoir before a massive drop tests the legs.  Back through more woods, this time on paved paths, then a swift drop down the embankment before diving through the trees to the finish line.

Great atmosphere for a midweek race, varied terrain and a great route to practice on, with a scenic view to enjoy at the end.
